AI-based Methodology for the Fast Maturation of Immature Manufacturing Processes
The AI research unit established by the German Research Foundation (DFG) at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in 2022 is looking for fundamentally new solutions to make complex development phases of new production processes faster, cheaper, and more efficient through the targeted use of AI methods. It consists of six research teams from the KIT and one research team from Fraunhofer-Institute for Optronics, System Technologies and Image Exploitation IOSB, which will jointly research and work on this issue in the new Karlsruhe Research Factory.
